Expedition in Tibet : Everest North Col- Entry & Exit: Zangmu
Everest North Col- Entry & Exit: ZangmuNorth Col is a large area where all Everest North expeditions make Camp I. From this point we can see the incredible views of the North Face of Everest, Pumori and Cho Oyu. It is a great chance for the climbers to gain some altitude experience climbing Everest.
Normally, team stay at advance base camp for four days and start climbing Everest North Col using fixed ropes. The route is straight forward trail up moraine to the East Rongbuk Glacier and takes about five to six hours. The descent takes about three hours.
