Mt. Lhotse is 4th highest peak in the world. Mt. Lhotse lies in eastern part of Nepal beside the Mt. Everest. Mt. Lhotse rises to 8516 meter above the sea level. Mr. Ernst Reiss of Switzerland scaled Mt. Lhotse first time on May 18, 1956 via West Face. The position of this mountain lies on: Latitude: 270 57' 45"and Longitude: 860 56' 03". There are three more Lhotse peaks, which are as follows;
Lhotse Shar 8400 meter, Middle 8413. First Nepali Climber: Mr. Urkien Tshering Sherpa who topped the mountain on May 8, 1977.

Mt. Lhotse's Normal Ascent Route is West Face and caravan Route: Ktm-Lukla-Namche-Pheriche- Lhotse base camp. 327 climber have been climbed Mt Lhotse till December 2007. Some season, some climbing team climb Mt Lhotse and Mt Everest same time. Many tourist in Nepal have been come to look Mt Eveest and Mt Lhotse, Mt. Cho-Oyu, Mt. Amadablam.
