Trekking in Nepal : Royal trek

This trek starts from Pokhara, the valley of lakes offering panoramic views of the Annapurna massif as also of the Mt.Manaslu. This route was first trekked by HRH The Prince of Wales in 1980 and hence is known as the ‘Royal Trek’. This is the best trek for those who want to experience village life, culture and striking mountain views in a relatively short period of time.

Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu,Transfer to Hotel
Day 02: Kathamndu valley sightseeing and prepare for the Trekking.
Day 03: Fly Kathmandu to Pokhara or drive by private overland transport to Pokhara
Day 04: Drive Pokhara to Arghaun village (20 minutes). Trek to Thulokote (1,400m) 3 hrs. walk.
Day 05: Trek from Thulokote to Lipeni (1,540m) 6 hrs. walk.
Day 06: Trek from Lipeni to Chisapani (1,520m) 5 hrs. walk. Walk down to Begnas Lake (890m)
             along a small ridge that separates the Rupa and Begnas lakes. 4 hrs. walk. Drive to
             Pokhara.
Day 07: Fly Pokhara to Kathmandu or Drive to Kathmandu by private overland transport
Day 08: Leave Kathmandu
